The RSC team put together a bespoke 2 week tour taking in six different locations for our party of three. As well as exploring Blantyre we took in trekking in Malanje, safari in Liwonde, an island stay on the lake and also Zomba coupled with visiting a village to see the work of YODEP. Service from our initial consultation through to our departure was excellent and I would highly recommend RSC / Orbis Expeditions. Ozzie our guide and driver deserves a special mention for his professionalism. Well done team and thank you.

We contacted the Responsible Safari Company early in the year after finally deciding to go back to Malawi to visit friends we had met in 2007. Right from the beginning, our treatment couldn't have been better. All contacts with Inno, our sales representative.,were clear, prompt and friendly and all the arrangements made were very satisfactory. We wanted a highly individualised tour. It had to be . There were farmer friends still in the villages in the north but other friends had moved to Lilongwe and the south. Key to a very successful trip was Ronald, our driver. His driving was excellent but he was far more than a driver - guide, information source , trouble shooter (particularly when a bank card was swallowed by an ATM!) and - quickly - friend. We had been a bit apprehensive at the beginning but that feeling disappeared as soon as we got into the car. We reached everywhere we wanted to without problem and all the accommodation we stayed in was good or very good. We didn't take part in any of the additional activities offered by the company as our trip was full of experiences like those offered.but from what we heard they sounded very worthwhile. No doubt about a five star rating, then. And if we ever go back? Responsible Safari Company for sure!

We took a three week holiday in Malawi, organised by the Responsible Safari Company and booked through Orbis Expeditions in the UK. The whole trip was very well organised and planned. We had a great time in the country, which is a fantastic place to explore with stunning scenery, wonderful wildlife and friendly people. We went in April and May which is outside the country's main holiday season but which seemed to us to be an ideal time to travel. It was after the rainy season (we had one rain shower while we were there and that was at night) but the grass was still green, the vegitation had not died off and there was still plenty of water in the rivers. We would strongly recommend using the RSC and Orbis to book trips to Malawi.
