The statue is impressive, but the view is bad since you can only look through tiny windows. On the inside there are many beautiful statues of Buddha and warriors

Even though it's a 45 min bus ride from sendai station, it's defintely worth going. It is the 7th biggest Statue in the world!!(100 m tall). You can even go inside and from top (86m) to bottom and see over a houndrer Buddha statues. Very...More
