This avenue is tree lined and has a median area walkway also tree lined. There are a few statues in the median. The trees are lit up in mid to late December for a few hours in the evening. Right as the lights are turned...More

This wide avenue is tree-lined, and decorated with some monumental (bronze) statues carved by the Italian sculptor Emilio Greco. It makes for a pleasant daytime walk. IN the (autumn) evenings, trees "come alive" with fairy lights-- just lovely!

This is a nice place to visit for shopping. Also a good place for people watching as it is hotspot for locals as well as tourists. A lot of the local university students end up here as well.

During my visit in sendai, i got lucky and arrived before the leds are lit. From darkness to total awesomeness! I would suggest anyone to arrive earlier and experience this!

Very beautiful and scenic display. Though the crowds may be a little daunting. All in all, worth while experience.
