The tram lines of Matsuyama all end up here, across the entrance to Dogo Onsen. Very convenient as the onsen is a must see place in Matsuyama. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor of the old station, horrors!

An unexpected delight to alight at this station, reminds us of 1950’s U.K. railway station. We were also lucky to find an old steam engine waiting on the side line

The Station itself cannot be considered a sightseeing point, but the area is a "must do" for a few photos or a dip in the famous historic Onsen if you are keen.

A great central transportation hub. If it's either a cable car or trolly or bus or train you can access it hear. Very clean and very efficient. Also lots of shops in the area.

It's a small train (tram) station. The most interesting thing is the old train ride. Said to be the first train available to the city. ¥800 per adult for a one-way trip from Dogo Onsen Station to Matsuyama city station.

This station is actually very small as it's for tram stop. However, when time matches, you can see the "Bocchan Train" stops just in front of the station. Provided that I am correct, I remember that it was evening time that I saw the train...More

It's a very small station in this small town, only good to accommodate a train length of single carriage.
