The Station itself cannot be considered a sightseeing point, but the area is a "must do" for a few photos or a dip in the famous historic Onsen if you are keen.

A great central transportation hub. If it's either a cable car or trolly or bus or train you can access it hear. Very clean and very efficient. Also lots of shops in the area.

It's a small train (tram) station. The most interesting thing is the old train ride. Said to be the first train available to the city. ¥800 per adult for a one-way trip from Dogo Onsen Station to Matsuyama city station.

It is nice to stop at the terminal for the dogs onsen and find this station which is indeed from another time Only saw it by night but it.s good to have a look while on the way to the dogo
