This is one of the city beaches in Naha, but it's really quite dirty and best avoided. Compared to the beautiful clear water at the beaches to the north of Okinawa island, the water here is really quite filthy.

Unexpected little beach with swimming areas, lifeguards and umbrellas. Plenty of vending machines, water fountains, and places to grab a bite. Relaxing.

Water was mirky and dirty when you get out covered in seaweed. Good location close to city but the better beaches are up North. Swimming barriers are fairly far in so during low tide there is no deep area to swim which is for most...More

Whit sand beach with roped off area for swimming. View isn't great as there is a highway that goes over the sea. However good to have a place in the city where you can go to swim on a hot day. Nearby Naminoue Shrine and...More

Small beach next to naminoue shrine, quiet and peaceful. However, this is not a good place if you desire for amazing ocean view.

Small city beach located under a raised roadway. Not the prettiest location, but the beautiful aqua colored water makes up for this. Good facilities on site and close to shops/restaurants. It was not crowded when I was there (mid-March), but would imagine in the summer...More

Nice to have beach just next to the city. Water is as green as it should be, white beach, not far from busy city center.

The beach is quiet and calm. It was nice to swim in the sea and the beach is very clean. Sunning on the sand was a nice break from the shopping.

Don't expect too much when going to the "beach" of Naha. Unfortunately there are 2 main roads in front of this little beach. But this beach is managed even in winter time properly and very clean. Should be ok in summer for a little sunbathing,...More

Yes there are. If you google ' Glassbottom boat tour, Naha' you'll find information on it. You have to make a reservation. There is also an underwater observatory at Busena Park up near Nago City. Last visit to Naha... More
