Very busy, lots of shopping arcades, but personally we did not find the shops very interesting, and did not buy anything! I guess it is still the place to go if you are looking for shopping in Naha.

Great shopping and restaurants, maybe not the cheapest but worth it especially if you are short in time, totally worth while. Seafood, japanese beef, (local) foods, clothes, famous pastries, tourist information, tour organizer, jewelry, pharmacies and souvenirs. DUTY FREE. Rather big, takes quite a while...More

If you exclude souvenir shops, there is not a lot of other types of shops here for shopping. Plenty of Okinawan and Teppanyaki restaurants though.

About 15 minutes walking is correct. The sunshine maybe hot if you do that or the rain may spoil your day. We took a cab (100 yen) because there were 4 of us and also because of our age ( above 75).
