This is a great way to get around Fukuoka. It's clean, safe and easy to work out how to use it. We bought one day passes which were great value and made everything very simple.

Fukuoka City Subway is the best way to travel from Fukuoka Airport to main cities in Fukuoka in about 25 minutes to Hakata, Tenjin, Gion and other places at very reasonable prices. Very safe and clean trains.

Negative - the one day pass is good for all subway travel during one calendar day 0530 to 0025 hours. You must purchase separate point to point tickets from FUK to your subway stop and return the following morning.
