Paid 500 yen to sample 5 different sake, and had an additional cloudy sample thrown in
The seating arrangement is simple and the service straight forward. You'll receive an explanation for each sample, along with some interesting facts. You'll get to try snacks that go...More
I stumbled upon the brewery by chance while walking back from Nara Park. I was the only visitor, but got six different sakes to taste for 500 YEN. There was very little explanation (only a pamphlet with one sentence per sake), and I would have...More

Great place to try out some different sakes. Tastings are very reasonably priced at 500 yen and include 5 tastings plus some seasonal tastings. I had never tried sparkling sake before, it was refreshing and lighter on alcohol.

I went with my partner, and there was no need to book in advance. We turned up a short about 20-30 minutes before closing time and were happily accepted. Solo visitor also not a problem. You can enjoy the tasting, and then browse their range of sake in the shop. I'd say it's about a 30 minute visit.
