Toshodaiji temple is the crown jewel of Nara. Breathtaking and worthwhile a trip if you are in Kyoto or Osaka.

One of many temples in Nara, probably not worth a separate trip but good to see when you are visiting other more famous temples in Nara.

Their website is saying they are opening on all the day, so you will be alright. However, they close at 17:00 (you need to get a ticket by 16:30). Hope you have a great trip!
