An interesting museum that is tastefully laid out to make the best of the pieces on display. Set in a lovely garden with a restaurant attached.

Beautiful pieces of work tastefully displayed in a space which is purpose built for the job. We were pretty much the only people there at the time - I get the feeling not so many people go out of heir way to come here... ...which...More

As a passionate Lalique fan and collector this was a must see of my trip to Japan. The museum itself is beautifully designed and situated. On the day we went, a really lovely French lady was working there at the 'gate' and was absolutely charming...More

An excellent display of fine glass making including perfume bottles, insects and water features along with some facts and objects relating to the man himself, a top attraction. There is also an excellent on site restaurant for a good lunch.

If you are a art-nouveau lover, this is worth the visit. You can find anything from glass to furniture by Lalique.

If you only do one museum or gallery in the Hakone region, make this the one. The works are divine, the gallery is a manageable size, and the romantic style garden is lovely to walk in. We had afternoon tea in the Lalique-decorated railway carriage...More
