Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

2車両の短いモノレールですが、様々なペイントが車両にほどこしており、見るだけでも楽しいです。地元密着のモノレールですが、全長15kmほどなので、往復するだけでも楽しいです。
Monorail has a just 2cars but many painting the car so enjoy just looking that.
The total distance in 15km so can be enjoyed taking the train.

First time using this monorail. Seems to be nicely decorated every one of the rail. Journey was smooth and they are really proud that they have the longest monorail in Japan. They have a glass panel near the driver which looks right down to the streets.

It looks strange: you stand in the station and there are no tracks. Then the train comes in, hanging from a track overhead. The ride is smooth and quiet. Beware: your regular train pass might not work on this line, which is one of the only ways to get horizontally between the three major parallel train lines in Chiba.

Apart from the zoo, there are no tourist destinations reached by this service of two lines. It is is just like a suburban tram route, except in the sky. You do get a great view and day tickets cost 620 on weekends, and on weekdays for travel between 10.00 and 18.00.

Just a fun thing to do. A day pass is very reasonable and takes you to all of the best tourist venues in Chiba. Make sure you take in the science museum.

This is a suspended monorail network in Chiba Prefecture. The route connects Chiba Minato to Kencho-Mae via the centre of Chiba city. The monorail ride is a unique experience as this is an inverted one and great views along the route.
The railway provides one day discount passes to visitors to enjoy the places of interests along the monorail route for a full day. This is a good one day activity from Tokyo.

If you are going to Chiba, which is an easy day trip from Tokyo, then the monorail is a must if even just to ride and view the sights from above. Chiba is a city about one hour or less east of Tokyo. Accessible by JR and other lines. The monorail is a suspended rail car, meaning the tracks are above the train which allows you unobstructed views of the city below and beyond. There are two lines, one is very short, I think 4 stations, but the other is long, 15 stations and there are attractions along the way, museums, the sports stadium and the zoo. See maps for stops. The trains are frequent, and they are kept very clean. Fares depend upon the length of trip, but I do not believe the total from first to last stop is over 450 yen. Passes available if you are there for longer period of time. Definitely worth doing.

Cheap and easy to access from the heart of the city. Takes you to the suburbs, including the City Zoo. Gives you the feeling of "flying" over the cars and roads below. Worth a ride.
