We enjoyed very very much! The Company Tanaka SAKE Brewery,they have a strong Service spirit! They hold a countdown party on New Year's Eve. Every one can take part in it without reservation. Participation is free of charge. Do you know the Japanese "yuku-toshi, kuru-toshi"?...More

I was excited about going inside the awesome-looking brewery, but it wasn't open when I stopped by just before noon on a Wednesday. The building looks quite impressive, and I hope to be able to go inside the next time I'm in Otaru.

Passed by this historical place few times and never have any intention to go in. Finally, decided to walk in this evening. I am not a Sake lover but I was impressed by this brewer factory, will visit again.

We were only interested in the sake tasting and buying sake. Not in the tour. So luckily we could just go to the main point, sake tasting... We tried about 5 different types. Bought the first bottle that we tasted. The price is really good....More
