From Hakodate city centre, you can rent a bike to goryokaku park, or by bus to go to Goryokaku. For me, I took bike, 500yen for 5hours from Hakodate Kokusai hotel You could explore the park using bicycle to save your time.

Nothing spectacular. Autumn foliage has not reached its peak. A rather small fort. Nothing interesting. Do not waste your time unless you wanna go for either sakura, autumn foliage or snow.
