Having seen many temples and shrines in Japan I would rate this as one of the best. The huge wooden building and surrounding grounds are beautifully maintained and there is a sense of peace and tranquility throughout the site. Some ice cream from the small...More

Walking towards the shrine from the main road, it's impressive just how large the main building is. Framed through the gate, it makes for a great photo. Inside, there is a very faded dragon painted on the roof. Supposedly, if you stand in the right...More

Lovely temple, with so many interesting features--the "roaring dragon" overhead, the dark passage to the fateful lock, and a feeling of ancientness. Beautiful grounds and many smaller structures, shrines, and monuments well worth wandering through. The friendly folks at the lobby entrance have an English...More

The name of this temple is called "Kaizenkouji". It is a very beautiful place. There is a "Nakiryuu. That this is very strange breaks out. Please actually carry out and strike a hand. You will surely be surprised.
