Make sure that you make a way to this bridge if you are going to Myojin pond. The view of the mountains from the bridge is beautiful and the bridge itself is more interesting than Kappa bashi. Besides that there are much less tourists.

Take time to walk the route and have a break at the restaurant on the track. You can visit the nearby Myojin Pond as well.

Walked over this bridge after visiting the Myojin Pond and stopping at the small inn/café nearby and to cross and walk back to Kamikochi the other side of the river.

It's a scenic spot in Kamikochi after more than an hour walk from the visitor centre. Most people will walk until Myojin and cross this bridge and return to the visitor centre thus covering the trails on both side of the Asuza river.
