It's inside the shrine and you have to pay to get in. It could be a bit too crowded when there are big tourist group arriving. Otherwise, you can take your time to soak in the scenery and the aura of this beautiful place.

This is such a peaceful place . One has to pay 300 yen to enter but its worth every yen! It’s a fairly long walk , about an hour from kappa bridge . The beauty of God’s creation is seen here .

It's just a minute off track when you do the kamikuchi circle route, but worth the 300 yen or so.. The color s of the pond are beautiful .it looks magical.

Spectacular scenery and some amazing photo opportunities, very relaxing and worth the 300 yen entry. Limited walkways and would imagine it can get pretty crowded at peak times.
