I enjoyed walking along the riverside. The water level was quite low so there were no boats anywhere which was a bit of a shame but still a nice quiet walk and nice scenery. A good view can be had from the Pedestrian Bridge.

Take time to sit along the river while enjoying a beer or an ice cream. The people watching is fantastic while listening to some musician playing soft tunes off in the background.

From the ducks that fight over bread thrown from pedestrians overhead to the many dogs romping on the banks, the Uzh river is the perfect complement to the picturesque city of Uzhgorod, my favorite city in zacarpathia.

Picturesque banks of Uzh river that give a name to town. You can cross it using pedestrian bridge heading you to the heart of old town.
