Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today was our first ever visit to the Old Turkish Bath, but it won't be our last. We have been to hotel and other spa centres in Çalış and Ölü Deniz, but decided to try something different. We were not disappointed. There's no fuss or frills, but the hammam and massage for both myself and my husband were excellent. Muzaffer (lady) and Uhr (man) scrubbed with a firm hand and pressed firmly during the massages. We had the rooms to ourselves. The marble was comfortably warm to enable the pores to open before being washed. The environment was clean and relaxing. Nothing was rushed. There is a complimentary tea after the hammam with a small charge for any extra. There is a male and a female changing area with lockers and footwear to use. You can keep your bikini / swim trunks on. We felt calm and relaxed after the treatments and enjoyed having a chat with Muzaffer. It is always nice to engage with the people you meet on your travels. We will definitely book again and definitely recommend trying something that might normally be a little out of your comfort zone. There is nothing to worry about. Ellerine sağlık.

Me and my mom have been here in the beginning of September 2021, difficult time for all. We were second visitors that day, while coming at the evening. Local woman, who works here, was a receptionist and has proceeded all inner stuff by herself. The cost was 160 TL (preparing, peeling, foam massage), + 40 if you want coffee (optional). All procedure is 1 hour durance. Don’t know about the men part, but in women you can wear lingerie or not, it’s the question of your only comfort. All what is on you, will become wet 100%, be prepared:) Relaxed and cute experience in the building 430 years old. Batherness is local, but speaks well eanglish:₽Recomended.

The whole experience was fantastic. Inside the hammam is 430 years old, marble interior. You can go in mens, womens or mixed section. Staff are lovely. Costs £70 total for two people to have turkish bath and full body massage.

AVOID, not honest and awful service!
We went out of our way to book an evening hammam here. We rung ahead of our visit and confirmed that we were coming. We drove from Oludeniz. When we arrived, the man changed the price and then said speak to my manager over the phone. The lady was extremely rude, changed the price once more and then after five minutes of talking, then said the place was shut and not open at all and then went on to talk about how she had not had a day off in three years. This was so frustrating considering we rung ahead and confirmed we were coming. I would not recommend at all from this awful experience.

Wery nice and relaxed hammam experience. We had a scrub, soap massage and then a quick 30 minute oil massage. All nicely done, very professional, at a reasonable price. It pays off to book in advance (just come by and let them know when you will come).

Ouch! Relaxing steam bath, exfoliating scrub and wash down - all very pleasant in fabulous ancient surroundings…..but the post bath back and neck massage proved far too strong and my neck has been painful for 3 days now….. the first night I woke up every time I moved all through the night… uncomfortable flight home and still feeling it now on the third day. I recommend the Hamam but I’d skip the massage!

Wonderful Turkish Bath experience. Kind staff, we were able to stay together as a family of 4, this amazing place has to be experienced. Great value for the time and care and attention in this really old, authentic, charming and welcoming Hamam. Thank you, we loved it!!

Visited with group of friends before sailing trip. Great fun, really relaxing and staff were brilliant. Few hadn’t done a full Turkish ritual before but everyone left having enjoyed it. About 90 minutes, 400 TL each. Apple tea great too. Towels and lockers provided. A memorable experience.

During our two week travels across Turkey I really wanted the family to experience a Hamam together. I saw the good reviews of The Old Turkish Bath in Fethiye, but both the Anglicised naming and some of the publicity material as well as Fethiye's overly English tourist centre had made me reluctant of it being anything close to authentic. However, any negative thoughts soon dissipated. The three of us, myself, my 14 year old son and partner, had a fantastic experience all together. The staff were incredibly pleasant, friendly and obviously proud to be keeping the long tradition of this Hammam working. I would fully recommend the he Old Turkish Bath. It's not going to be the westernised version you get in the hotels at an inflated price but an experience that you will cherish.

Small but clean and friendly, the hamam wash was excellent. The place inside is simple with clean marble. The woman who washed us ha an excellent English speaker, friendly and very good at her job, well worth a visit while in the city.
