Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked the whole length of this amazing parkland area. Lots of places to stop and chill, many bars, restaurants and coffee places along the whole park. Activities at various locations along the way too.

What a great day out can be had here. We were only here for a couple of hours but you could easily spend a whole day here.
There’s a great park for the kids there are bits dotted about everywhere for them. There’s a set path that you can walk around the whole place. There is so much to see and do. There’s even hammocks to lay on, it’s all on the sea front so the views are spectacular as well.
If you see the little almost hobbit like dwellings inside are libraries with books to read. We didnt take a close look and imagine they are all in Turkish but could you imagine that in the UK they would all be nicked or set on fire.
The park is spotlessly clean, no litter, no graffiti.
There is a small ice cream and snack shop prices and very reasonable. The toilets were clean. It really is a great place to spend the day costing next to nothing considering there is so much to do.

We visited this park on the last day of our trip with 16 kids. The park is new having only been open 6 months. There is so much to do for all ages from the well equipped gym area, to the skate park, basketball courts and a massive climbing frame area. There are trampolines on the floor and my favourite being the shaded areas where you can sit or lie with a free book on offer. There are books left in the glass shelves in English and Turkish.
And the best thing this park offers is the outstanding view.
Was a brilliant day out and completely free.

The new promenade from Calis to Fethiye is really superb, wide, scenic and with regular restaurants and bars. However the highlight is the Sehit Fethi Bey Park at the Calis end. This is really of Disneyland standards with lots of activities for all ages. Highly recommended.

We travel to Fethiye regularly and have seen the work happening over a preriodbof time, and have been keen to visit the finished article. We were not disappointed.
Over 50+ acres of land have been transformed. There is something for everyone. Little trampolines are dotted around through a very robust kids playground to a basketball court. For those not interest in being active there are plenty of seating areas ranging for sheltered reading areas through seats on the front to watch the sea to hammocks. All are dotted around the site so you’re never far from somewhere to sit and look. Note: dogs aren’t allowed and neither is alcohol. Also they’ve banned electric scooter including mobility ones.
The whole site has been very well thought out and it worth a visit. We went during the day but we’ll try to come back at night. We can imagine coming to Fethiye / Calis for dinner and then taking a stroll to the park to ‘let things settle’.
Currently there are no food and beverage outlets in the park. There are some on it’s outside, so if your going to spend time there, take it in with you.

I mean it. Really. We've first encountered this amazing place early in the morning and even then it was impressive. But at night it shines. Literally. It's so safe and full of space so it never might feel crowded although there are plenty of people there. Mostly locals.
There are facilities for all ages. Like 0-90 yo. Teenagers play ball or ride bikes and halfpipes. Little children enjoy colourful fountains and other things made specifically for their pleasure. Elder people find their place too as well.
I personally recommend everyone to give it a try. Though dogs not allowed. That's strange to my but the rules are the rules.

Are there any snack stands or places to get a sandwich in the park? We have a 4 hour layover in Fethiye, coming from Rhodes and before we need to head to Dalaman airport and this looks like. a nice place to spend the time. But we need to get lunch, too.

The only place nearby the you can get a snack in is the restaurant/cafe Reis Kafe (lighthouse) on the edge of the park by the little bridge. You can't miss it. I've eaten there myself (see review) and use it as a stop off for a coffee when walking into to Fethiye.

Do you you have to pay to get in if so so how much?
Is it better to go in the day or night?
Written 10 March 2019
No payment to get in and day or night for a visit but I would think it is better visited in the daytime. A mile or so, up the road is Calis and well worth an evenings visit.
