this is a quaint, small little place that does not even have red lights! just a few stop signs. Shops are great, lots in walking distance. The Riveredge Hotel was a great place to stay for sure!!!

Our boat tour included a drop-off/pick-up at the castle and departed the marina in the early afternoon; it cruised up and down the St. L. Seaway, weaving its way to the most scenic sites. The boat tour was fully narrated. We were on a 3...More

A fun spot to vacation and the fishing is great. Most of the food in the restaurants is pretty good too. No chain fast food in the area and we didn't miss it. Beautiful area of the USA.

The Thousand islands are a hidden gem. There's an island feel all while being in Northern New York. It is laid back and friendly. Great town to stroll around. Nice for families, young couples, bikers, drinkers or adventurers.

Both Canadian and US sides of Thousand Islands are beautiful. Places to visit on US side are Alex Bay and Clayton. And on Canadian side, Gananoque and Ivy Lea.

The cruise around the islands and drives along the shore to Clayton and over to Wellesley Island will remain a cherished memory.

Good evening, I am sorry but I did not climbed the lighthouse. I climbed the upstairs in the museum and that was pretty steep. I had to hold on to the rails.

Summer is busier when everyone is out of school. Late August is a bit better. Even when the area is busy they typically add more boat tours and runs so you should be able to get a spot and many tours let you book in... More
