We visited in June. Windy, as expected, it's the monsoon. The south end of the beach had some protection. You could swim there. The mid section wasn't safe, but kite surfers liked the waves and wind. Northern section, around the point where the national park...More

Near the airport so you can enjoy the beach and watch the planes fly over. Low tide during this season so you can Even walk far from shore for that relaxing soak in the sea

Its a great place, nice and clean, good for a catch of sunset. Would give 5 stars but there are 2 big minuses, the maseuses that keep shouting after you when you try to have a walk around the beach and the constant dogs walking...More

Nai Yang Beach is about 800 meters long and up to 50 meters wide. You can have a beautiful beach walk from the local village with its markets, small coffee shops and restaurants (about 30 of them); feel the authentic vibes of the local area...More

Despite this beach being so close to the airport (so yes, you do see and hear planes taking off every hour or so) it’s our favourite beach we’ve been to in Thailand- it’s been lovely and quiet while we’ve been staying near the airport for...More

Stayed at Pensiri House as was volunteering at Soi Dog. Stayed in the old building. Room was basic but all i needed. Beach is pristine. Enough choices of restaurants and bars but not crowded. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Nai Yang Beach doesn’t stand out among other beaches. Neither in Phuket, nor in Thailand. But! Just as a beach. In the same time it’s one of the best spotting locations. Not in Thailand, in the world. There’s just one better place in the world...More

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this long stretch of beach is. We enjoyed thus quiet less touristy gem where the locals come to enjoy the beach and have picnics under the shade of tall stunning trees. We marvelled at the eagles soaring above...More

Quiet beach spot close by the airport. Easy going place with sprawling shops and bars yet still quiet and off the beaten track. You can walk round and watch the planes land one way...or visit the ghost hotel and reef head at the other end....More

A bit of touch and go - restaurants at Nai Yang beach generally close between 10pm-11pm. If you re running late, you may be better off grabbing some food at the airport first

You can always check the Phuket airport arrivals if you are concerned with flight timings. Noise wise - I was never disturbed by it even though I’m a light sleeper
