A nicely laid out museum with descriptions in English on most of the exhibits. A pleasant way to spent an hour and learn a little more about the local and national history. 100 Baht for foreign visitors.
Not many museums in Thailand and it's hard to understand the how's and Why's but this is a good place to start. Thai people don't get hung up on the past but it would be good if there were more history available
This is definitely worth your time if you have a few days in Khon Kaen, but you don't need more than an hour here. There are some great archeological finds here, and the descriptions are written in English/Thai.
A very well presented small museum on two floors in Khon Kaen. Not far north of the city centre, this attraction is a must see in Khon Kaen for its excellent explanations of Issan history, together with many artefacts.
