Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kassim accompanied us on our first day and then we did the rest of our 5 day safari-tour with Babu (Shiza) whom is a bit older than Kassim but incredibly nice and exerienced. He and Baraka (the cook) were always extremely nice and polite. They were communicative and joyful. It was a real pleasure to trave with them and we would higly reccomend them.
If you travel with Kassim ask for Babu (Shiza) and Baraka.

We spent 2 days in Lushoto with Kassim and Costa, two awesome guys who exploited us everything in details and take care of us with a very very nice attitude and vibes. We absolutely recommend them for join them to any activity. They have a huge knowledge about animals and plants and a great ability to find animals.

Thanks a lot for sharing and spent a very nice time. They made us to feel Lushoto así our home.

We have spent five wonderful safari days with Kassim. He took a lot of time for us and explained everything in detail about the animals. He also has a very good eye for the animals. Thanks to him we have seen many animals that we would never have seen ourselves. His knowledge about animals is very impressive. We had a lot of fun with the whole crew. We can only recommend him. We are looking forward to another time.

We booked 3 days walking around with Kassim in Usambara Montains from Lushoto. Kassim charged us a pretty fair Price and was a very good guide.

I met Kassimu in Lushoto and we organized a nice hike together. He spotted many chameleons on the way and we spent a nice day together. Because he convinced me I booked a 3 day safari with him. We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara and had a wonderful time. Kassimu and Amani were top guides, they made sure that we always feel in good hands, excellent service and a good eye for the different animals. Can highly recommend to book with them, you will not regret it.

We did 2 tours with him, he took us to irente view point and MKuzi waterfall. During both expeditions, Kassim took a lot of time to explain the surrounding plants trees and animals. He speaks fluently many languages which is a big plus.
also he charges a very fair price comparing to what other can promote.
We would recommend him for any type of tours.

My tour guide, Kassim, and I planned a custom dual hiking tour in Lushoto starting with Kisasa Falls and ending with Irente Viewpoint. Along the way, Kassim described the fauna and flora, and constantly checked in to make sure that I was well (my huffing and puffing up a steep mountain may have been the impetus for this!). Best of all, we found several chameleons along the way! Koyo offers one of the best deals to tour this beautiful area of Tanzania and I can't express how strongly I recommend him. Asante sana, Kassim, kwa siku nzuri sana!

Unforgettable experience ever! The best company for safaris and mountains climbing with professional guides and very experienced one. Thanks for koyo safaris.everything was perfectly arranged as I planned! Kasim is very knowledgeable on birdlife, wildlife! During my trips to tarangire manyara and ngorongoro crater he was totally kind and funny every time he was active to listen to my questions although I had alot of questions and he explained clearly about the animals behaviour and after we drove to usambara mountains where we did two days to magamba rain forest, kisasa water waterfall and irente view point, I felt like another world! He knows well about the natures!!!! Highly recommended.

I visited Lushoto in Usambara mountains with my friend and we didn’t know much about the area. Kassim took us to a coffee tour that was an experience of my life! We hiked for couple of hours to the local village where we picked coffee beans and then, together with his family, we made our own coffee. We were also offered food and water, everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly, frankly interested in where we come from. Kassim was a real friend to us, answered all our questions and shared his life with us. When we came back to the city, we even went for a drink to the local bar and had fun. Kassim made our time in the mountains!

My son and I hiked with Kassim for 6hrs from Irente to Magamba forest..Lushoto. I was quiet slow but Kassim was so patient with me, he narrated the history of the area along the way, we stopped to take enough pictures and picked fruits along the way, it was lovely
