在這裡能享受到都市生活中沒有的寧靜，純樸美麗的部落群聚在山谷中，清新的空氣讓身體感到舒適，雖然在山中，但還是有間現代化的7-11。

環山聚落處雪山發源的斯基蘭溪和從桃山發源的七家灣溪交會於附近，屬小規模的泰雅族聚落，位於梨山至武陵農場間，部落周圍遍佈3000公尺以上的山岳，是難得一見的山谷部落。
