    Spectacular temple setting
Just when you thought you’d seen all the temples you can see. This one is different enough in its setting that it’s definitely worth a stop. A wide array of statues…the zodiac animals…and stone pagodas. There are some steps, but they are well cut and even. The walk down to the overlooks and the temple are worth the walk. The area surrounding the temple path is full of stalls. There is a pay parking lot with restrooms at the beginning of the path.

    A Must See in Busan
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is a must see if traveling to Busan. We arrived around 8:30, and basically had the whole area to ourselves (once we left around 10:00, the complex was significantly more crowded, and tour buses were starting to pull in). The scenery and views of the sea is magnificent from the temple complex.

A fabulous Temple next to the ocean
Spectacular Temple built next to the ocean. Like most places we've been to in Korea, be prepared for lots of stairs, but it's well worth it. It seemed very commercial. A taxi, rather than bus, made it a quick trip to and from our hotel in Haeundae.

Worth a look, lots of stairs and inclines to be aware of.
This temple is quite a way away from the Busan main train station and Haeundae Beach. We took a taxi to save time, and there were plenty of taxis to come home. Also a few snack vendors before you go in. Fair bit of stair climbing and inclines. Not really catering for the mobility impaired. I would also probably not take very young children. Worth a look, some interesting things to see, even more so for people of that faith.

Seaside Buddhist temple as featured on CNN
This picturesque place is a Buddhist temple located by the sea. It is slightly touristy but also a solemn, comical, and wishful place all at once. The scenery is amazing and offers many great spots for photography. The best way to get there is by taxi, and it is easy to find them near the site. We came here after spending several hours at the new Busan Lotte World as it is nearby. Definitely worth the trip, although it can get crowded.

    Beautiful seaside temple.
This can get very busy as it is rated as one of the most beautiful temples in South Korea. It is very scenic, and there are quite a few steps to negotiate. We did it as part of an organised tour with our cruise line. There are lots of great photo opportunities, and a visit is highly recommended.

temple that goes well with the beautiful scenery of the sea
C ( 24.04.08 ) This temple is one of the few on the beach, where the scenery of the sea and the buildings go well together. It is a very crowded place, and there are well-organized parking lots and trails. It is well worth visiting, and many people are making wishes for sightseeing. It is also famous for its sunrise spot.

Beautiful temple right next to the Ocean. The most fun part was throwing coins at the wishing well. Well worth a visit to see the temple.

Ver interesting religious place. Pretty ancient. Be prepared to walk a bit both down the hill and up the hill. Very colourful place with lots of history.

We caught the 1001 bus from Busan Station and had a 750m walk up the hill to this very pretty and popular site. Lots of food vendors on site gave the place a carnival atmosphere.
