If you know something about Arthur, you will know he was a good president. He is entombed in a sad, cemetery, much of it unkempt. But the history noted on the other gravestones is very, very interesting.

Arthur's tomb is on a corner plot. It is astoundingly beautiful and touching at the same time. It was hard to tell if the president was buried in the ground, or was located in the crypt. Inspiring!

its a great place to visit full of history. Trees are labeled and there are many different types. there is a pond to feed the gold fish. they even give you a informational pamphlet at the main entrance that changes every month with more details.....More

Passes this cemetery many times finally had the time to stop and find Chester Arthur's grave. It was a beautiful appropriate last resting place for a president it seemed to me , it wasn't imperial as modern presidents last resting places are.
