We were staying at the Kibbutz and walked over to view the display There is a video that describes the circumstances surrounding the finding of the boat and also the restoration process. It was an interesting display

This boat at first glance may not seem amazing, but when you consider how this boat was preserved it is indeed. Also, the history of this kind of boat on the Sea of Galilee is astounding. Also, the gift shop is good shop.
