Leaving from Jerusalem early in the morning, we’ll drive south, to the foot of Masada. the site of one of the greatest tales and heroism.
The excavated ruins are fascinating to explore, and the remarkable location high above the surrounding desert and Dead Sea, makes this a might impressive experience.
After exploring the magnificent fortress, the next stop is Ein Gedi , a beautiful nature reserve with waterfalls and the last stop is at a 'private beach' on the Dead Sea for a float & enjoy the unique opportunity to float in the waters and immerse yourself in the famous mud.

The owners made this a very unique type of botanical garden. They created very unique structures throughout the garden to complement the vegetation. Worth an hour or two visit.

The plants were beautiful! The history of how the gardens were planted was interesting. There were varieties of plants from places far and near.

It was so very relaxing and peaceful. The trails were easy to walk and scenic. My kids were blown away by how cold the water was in the middle of a desert. There was also tones of wild life that had r of humans. We didn’t see people feeding them (which was good), they just seemed to accept tourists as sort of part of the landscape.

Very clean, well kept, unique flowers, plants and trees, some from Africa. It takes about 20 minutes to cover the route. Not a place to stop for a picnic - it is a residential area.

Our tour group just went up to the waterfall, but that was a great experience. We walked up the trail to a rocky place with railings on steps to get down to the pool and waterfall. Quite steep. You can take your shoes off and Wade in the shallow water and go under the waterfall. I recommend hiking sandals. There is also a trail that goes above the falls to see the Brook that feeds the waterfall. I didn't have time to go to the top. Nice gardens on the trail back. Lovely and peaceful place.
