Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interactive play graund. This is the best way to describe Carasso Science Park.
This new science museum will arouse interest in every kid if he is 3yo or 50yo.
During the visit you wiil encounter historical exhibition of comuter and game console, sound games and experiment, physical and intellectual challenges and much much more.
Tip: because the entrance fee is a bit high, try to find deals through credit card compenys or worker's committee.

Carasso science park is a very interesting park to visit with all the family because there is so much to do and learn to all of the family. You can come even with a 4 year old because there is also a place when little kids can learn science and have fun.

Normally when I read that a site is suitable for all ages, I immmediately assume, based on experience, that it is really meant for children. However, this science park is really interesting for adults as well. The displays are all hands-on, and I noticed both children and adults trying out the various displays. Although most of the exhibits are below ground, some of them are in a restored school which was used 100 years ago for the sons of local Beduin sheikhs.
All of the museum is wheelchair-accessible. We were easily able to find a parking space on a Saturday morning, but the museum's website warns that parking is normally inadequate and that you should arrive by public transport. Actually, the museum is in a very quiet area of town at the edge of the Old City, and there should be plenty of parking on nearby streets on weekdays.
The cafe is not yet open, and the only cold drinking water we found was outside in the science garden. Of course, you can fill a water bottle in the many bathroom sinks.
All the exhibits are explained in Hebrew, Arabic and English, with one exception. The demonstrations given on subjects such as how a nuclear reactor works and how laser beams work were given only in Hebrew, and I saw no suggestion that these lectures are given in any other language. However, even without the lectures, there is enough materiel to keep anyone busy for hours. I saw adults and children enjoying themselves, but children under the age of five are not going to have much fun.
One thing I really liked was the working models of 500-year old Leonardo Da Vinci designs. The musuem staff, which you can find all over the museum, was extremely helpful in showing visitors how the various exhibits work.
Although it would take half a day to do the museum justice, you can get a taste of it and thoroughly enjoy it in a few hours.

We attended this museum with kids age 12-14. The kids really loved it! although some of the exhibits' design are very simple, they are very well done and the kids have a great time. We had the added advantage of going in teh middle of the week and having the museum to ourselves. Kids easy spent 4 hours there and would have spent more if we had more time. There is also a great outdoor section but because it was summer we did not explore that part since it was too hot (which was a shame.) Definitely recommend it!

Good point: This was very interesting to visit. It was fun for my kid and for me too. A lot of attraction interactiv and educative. You can spend a full day and you will learn a lot.
Bad point:
Some of the attraction need to have more explication. I would put more languages, for the moment it is only 3 (hebrew, arabic and English)

The complex is build under the ground, beneath an old house.
Perfect for children, but adults can enjoy it too.
The facilities are sophisticated and interesting.
Be ready for groups of children who come there, so it's can be quite croudy.
Parking is free for those who come there, you have to give the parking card to the cashier at the entrance when you are going out, becase it valid for 15 minutes.

+ very nice broad grounds with well looked-after plants
+ great outdoor exhibits with large scale mechanisms
+ beautiful fountain with ability to control springs
+ kind of dzhimburi for children below 6 years old
+ interesting for me (40 years old) indoor exhibits
+ stands where children learn while playing
- small number of attractions relatively to Jerusalem or Haifa museums of science
- 2.5 hours of visit at most
- neither buffet nor snack machines (at least in the middle of week)

Wonderful science park and museum. We all enjoyed it and learned a lot, from grandparents to teenagers to toddlers. The hands-on exhibits combine play with learning in a way that allows every person to understand the subjects at their own level.
The park contains several buildings connected underground or by paths and green spaces. The central building is a very beautiful schoolhouse from the Ottoman era.
The science garden is a open air exhibition, including giant sculptural games that demonstrate physical and technological principles.
