We hiked the Campuhan (Tjampuhan) Ridge Trail at 6:40 am when it is still cool. If you are on Jl. Raya Ubud, look for the Ibah Hotel, follow the signs for Karza Cafe and that will take you on the trail. As you start your...More

The really difficult thing about the walk is finding it’s starting point. We wasted half an hour looking for it. There are two starting points. The closest point to Ubud Palace, which is the city centre, is near the bridge on Campuhan River. As you...More

After all those fantastic meals in Ubud this is the prefect place to stretch your legs and get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud.

We took the opportunity to walk the ridge in the late afternoon. Was still warm but quite manageable. Some steeper sections. Was great to walk all the way to the end and then return to Ubud via a walk through the local roads. Took about...More

We spend an afternoon on the ridge walk and had fun. It was rather hot (should've gone a bit earlier in the morning so less sun), so we were quite exhausted when we returned, but it was worth it. The views were nice, and it...More

When starting from the “Ibah Hotel” point, the walk is pretty and offers a good view of Ubud’s green lush landscapes. After about 1.5/2 km, you see the first rice fields along w a series of little warungs, galleries and hotels. The people are very...More

I love trekking in Campuhan alone or with friends. The view was great, you can come while sunrise and before sunset. Mostly people come here for jogging, trekking, or just take a photos.
