Maybe if we had gone very early in the morning it would not have been overrun by tourists who'd paid to snap photos as workers labored away in the fields. The road is lined with cafés where you can gaze upon said tourists and you...More

Great experience. Walking down the terrace and back up the other side is amazing. Wear shoes as the ground is uneven and wet. Bring small money bills as there are donation areas.

Not sure I can describe it it was beautiful. So lush peaceful. I did not get to walk around all of it because of a downpour which can make the stones steps slick. But I thought it was breathtaking, a must do.

Fields are nice but they are bit far from Road. It's always crowded here. We did not enjoy much.Just be careful about where you step/sit when taking picture

I’ve been to this terrace many times before and it never fails to disappoint me!! Gorgeous views. I see they now have a swing and nest for pictures. Kinda ruins it for me but I still recommend because of the views!

Had a wonderful experience around Ubud booked a full day tour via Destination Asia - our tour guide was Sudarma, absolutely sublime! A wealth of knowledge. And the Tegalalang Rice fields were spectacular!

Tegalalang (about 25 min from Ubud) is one of my favorite spots in Bali, and a must do for any first time visitor. It’s hard to beat it at sunrise 😍

Great adventure, good to try something completely different. The humid conditions made it slightly sweatier work, but at the same time it was fun, and I relaxed with ice cold coconut water afterwards.

It's virtually free, about 10,000 rupiah if I recall, but as you climb you are required to make "mandatory donations"...

We took an e-bike tour so the guides were with us and showed us around the rice paddies by bike. Didn't have any issues, but wasn't alone.
