The temple has a terrific architecture. It is a huge premises with many small temples. Parking is done around the temple on the road.

A visit to one of the most holy places in tamilnadu was on the cards for sometime. We went at about 6 in the evening. We had a great darshan with harthi and the evening pooja too. Left feeling peaceful.

Salwar kameez with dupatta is advisable. I have seen girls with jeans and tops also there.. But for men, If they want to go inside shrine i.e. nataraja. they have to remove their shirt. thanks
