nice old property and serious effort made to display history and a small selection of old french colonial artefacts and furniture and lovely indian statutes

Not bad to tour this museum, but you can not touch anything. They have people all around watching to make sure. It qwas so funny as we caught one of the staff turning a light on a car. There is a lot of history here...More

When you visit Pondicherry this place merits a visit. There is an entrance fee of Rs. 10/person. The collection is pretty impressive. Very well maintained and clean. You are not allowed to take pictures of the items displayed. I saw groups of foreigners keenly going...More

There are many Indian materials which you will see everywhere but I most enjoyed the french things. Like the ceramics, home decor back in the days and the different kind of transportation used.

You could though I don’t recall much by way of child friendly options. It’s small so you could do it soon enough
