Good place for boating but visit Shnopdeng for even better experience. The wtaer ther is much clearer. The border is a nice experience.

What a beautiful beautiful and clean place.. Take the board ride through the clearest water and make sure you go in the season and do cliff jumping.. Its a damn pretty place and must must visit.

Leave shillong early, mawlynnong is a detour of 19 kms en route to Dawki. The river may not be crystal clear if it rains. October onwards is the best to see the crystal clear water. At mawlynnong, is the route bridge too... More

Probably june isnt a good time to visit the place as the rains bring in muddy water which makes the river water unclear..
