Beautiful river and you can take a boat ride and see Bangladesh, which is on the other side. To reach the river side you need to climb down some 150 steps, not very difficult but you need to be careful. Specially children and senior citizens.
Do plan to visit this place whenever u r near shillong. Offers beautiful views, boating and camping options. Clear waters and to see fishes and river bed is a rarity in most rivers now. Bangladesh water border is also visible. Must go!!
