Full of beautiful temples with historical significance. All temples within 4-5 km radius from city. Mostly from 10th-12th century. Generally in good condition. Escaped Moghul vandalism because they are deep in forest area. Spend as much time as possible on West group of temples. Not much in Eastern and Southern group. Sunset at Shiva temple is a spectacular sight to see fading sunlight illuminating Shiva idol from feet upto face. Do not miss Raneh waterfall. Two clear days good enough.

This is an amazing place. The original temple is finely preserved and the sprawling new corridor is a masterpiece.
There are several gates to enter. The ones through the new corridor will involve a good amount of walking on legs to reach the main temple.
Gate # 1 is the "Shighra darshan" entry gate (note that it shigra darshan is ticket based for Rs. 250. Tickets can be booked online or purchased at the counter right outside gate # 1. 3 wheeler can drop pretty close to gate # 1. Shighra darshan is definitely beneficial for senior citizens as it involves less walking and waiting. The lines of Shighra darshan and regular darshan however eventually merge near to the main shrine.
The other key thing to do is bhasma aarti, which happens early in the morning around 4 AM. This has very limited tickets and tickets can be booked online. Tickets open up 14 days in advance and are gone as soon as they open around 8 AM everyday. There are pandits and agents locally that will offer you deals for Rs 4000+ for bhasma aarti but don't fall for them.
Plenty of hotels around. We stayed at Hotel Imperial Grand. Very good hotel , 15 mins walk to temple.
    Some pictures attached for corridor.
    Must visit place.

I have been visiting this wonderful place since my childhood days that is early 90s. I may have been there at least 7-8 times. Earlier getting to the temple was very tough we had to travel by private buses as there was no RTC. The condition of MP roads was appalling at least till early 2000s but has improved significantly. Have fond memories of being there with family and cousins. Just that temple administration must concentrate and put more efforts on cleanliness. The rocks near the Narmada ghats are all dirty full of faecal material. The river water is quite deep here and tourists need to be cautious while swimming taking bath. The new bridge is also good. Bhang is freely available in the market. Overall it’s a good religious place and above all its jyotirling. Om namah Shivaya!

It's a great experience, to be honest I don't have words to express.....but it was very much spiritual and gives a strong feel to Shiva's Darshan.

We highly recommend Kanha National Park. Our outstanding guide and driver: Naren and Kamel, used their amazing listening and visual skills to find numerous breathtaking tiger sightings, including a striking male tiger interacting with two cubs, and a beautiful tigress drinking slowly at a small lake. We also saw a leopard in the forest and then on the road for a considerable distance (and we were the only jeep there), as well as three golden jackals, dozens of barasingha deer, playful langur monkeys, Indian guar, and so much more. On our walking safari, we appreciated viewing, up-close, the Ornamental tree trunk spider, python skin, the Indian Paradise flycatcher and the beauty of the surroundings. For amazing wildlife viewing, Kanha is hard to beat.

Amazing fort and very well maintained. Very very beautiful architecture. We spent more than 2 hours exploring with a knowledgeable guide. Visiting Gwalior just for this fort is worth every penny.

Well maintained, lots of scanned codes which u scan on your phone and give you good insights on the monument, lots of places where they have explained the sculptures.
You should take time about an 1 hour to visit this entire site completely.

    A must visit

It's very huge water falls on Maa Narmada River. Located in Belaghat. On Marble Ghat. It has ropeway also.
You can also purchase small idols of god's made by marbles.

Rock shelters from ancient times, preserved for views by modern folks. The combination of rocks, paintings & shelters is sublime.

The Sarafa night market, or bazaar, is a wonderful & famous aspect of night life in Indore. The streets, teeming with shoppers during the day, come alive in the night once the shutters are down wherein food stalls are set up & crowds throng the place for a variety of eats.

The entire fort complex is stunning with breathtaking views. Not much to view from within but the ticket prices aren't much so might as well. Would suggest watching Sound & Light show before exploring the complex (show happens at night though!). Lot of walking and climbing steps up and down would be required. To add, Rajaram Mandir and Chatrubhuj Temple are amazing, and Lala Hardol Bagh is worth a watch. So is Shaheed smarak enroute from Jhansi to Orchha!
