We hopped on a ferry from Fort Kochi to get on to this island - just for three rupees! Just like Kochi, this beach also has its very own Chinese fishing nets.

Vypeen Island is the relaxing getaway place for Kochi offering long and mostly quiet beaches as well as backwaters, a large choice of hotels and many restaurants of different categories. We went for two extra days and it was worth it.
