If you have visited the leh palace and other famous monasteries then you can skip this place or get a glimpse of it from the base because you have to ascend a sloppy terrain to reach the structure.

This a review of the Shey Palace as It is not listed separately as a attraction. It is not worth the time and effort to visit this palace as it is in ruins although some restoration work was being done when we were there.
