Isolated, but well maintained monastery with lots to see and friendly monks. But a long tortuous drive - and hot too - with little shade about. Many steps.

We were the only ones who visited this huge monastery. The responsible monk opened the prayer halls only for us. Impressing.

This is the only Nunney monastery . The road condition was not good at time of visit also the road was very narrow. It is near ulteppo and alchi village.

The nuns were very hospitable and the monastery is beautiful. Dedfinitely worth visiting when in the area.
