Ancient ruins of sun temple is located near the jail road and is about two km from the present mattan thirth temple in the mattan town. Drivers are mostly not aware and take the tourists to mattan thirth temple and people are made to believe...More

First of all, the entries "Sun temple in Martand" and "Surya temple at Martand" should be merged as they refer to the same place. It is a gorgeous place and the ruins are majestic and impressive. I've written more about my visit to this place...More

This beautiful abode of Sun Lord in Kashmir is located on way to famous tourist resort of Pahalgam. Majestic Temples and large fresh water natural springs are a God's gift to Kashmir and one just
