This was my 4th trip to Dawer, the capital of Gurez. Traveled to Tulail also. The people are very polite and lovely. The road Bandipora to Gurez is difficult otherwise it is a levels place.

Wow is the word when u reach such an amazing place....its pure nature....the journey from srinagar is quite bumpy but the view in route makes for it....razdhan pass is another amazing place....but the beauty of gurez will take ur breath away...but always better to go...More

hi Masud, i dont know about army guesthouse as I stayed at TRC. They are readily available. You would need your own personal contacts to book something in the army guesthouse. You can stay at Dak bungalow as well. I dont... More

Yes. Gurez is easily accessible by road. You can take a shared cab from Batmaloo in srinagar and then from bandipora to Dawar, the district headquarters of gurez. You can also read my blog about it. Search for lifeoutside... More
