The Wildlife Sanctuary is a reserve for birds and other animals. They roam free. They are not in cages. This is a beautiful area to drive through and to get out and enjoy viewing the creatures as they go about their daily routines.
Except for the drive through lush green forest and interiors of Goa there is nothing worth a mention here. Don't go there looking for a zoo. Hardly any animals to see. The enclosures are not viewer friendly and a very far away from each other....More
1. Limited animals on display but very well maintained.
2.Not very crowded place.
3. There is an entry fee for this zoo.
4. This zoo is a far away drive from the city.
5. It's a very quite place.

Worth a visit. Nicely maintained. The number of animals here are limited, but are well maintained. Indian gaurs, snakes, black bucks are some of the attractions. The only elephant is chained. Rhino is good and healthy. The surrounding is well maintained.
I went to the ‘sanctuary’ today thinking it would be nice place for mistreated animals following cruel exploitation. It seems they may be no better off in this place. They call it a sanctuary, but I is more like a zoo.
