The mini zoo is a small zoo housing few animals. Some endemic species like the Andaman Pig and Andaman Eagle could be seen here. If one is short of time this place can be given a miss.

They have crocs, white bellied sea eagle which looked sad since it was alone in enclosure, dark serpent eagle, boars etc etc. You get to see many other birds as well. Lots of scope for development

It is small zoo located near to samudrika museum. They charge you a nominal entry fee of 2 rs per person. They have 1 crocodile, 1 Python, few tortoises. It can be skipped if you are for less ni.ber of days at port Blair. However...More

Collection is small here but it's within the city premises, hence can be a place for weekend hangout or evening handout. You get to see Spotted Deer, Bear, birds like Sea Eagle and several snake species and reptiles. Maintenance is kind of Ok. Just go...More

The zoo is small, and has a small collection of animals and birds. You can still visit it if you want to refresh the memories of childhood or your kids are accompanying you. They will enjoy it.
