Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Exotic tours had a stand set up to meet our cruise ship at the port. We went in a mini bus with 6 of us and paid $20 Fiji a head. It was the best value tour we got anywhere. Our wonderful driver Ashmira took us to several places of interest and the tour lasted almost 5 hours. She was very accommodating when individuals wanted to stop for various things and was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to The garden of the sleeping giant, Jacks department store, first landing resort and a beautiful temple.
A fabulous value for money tour.

A great activity for the entire family (kids of 8 and 13)
2 great waterfalls to swim in and even jump for the bravest. A really cool experience.
The community organizing the tour is really nice and helpful.
Don’t hesitate to take the Boat tour as it will allow you to discover hidden waterfalls from the sea.

Kalo, Jone and Abo were absolutely fantastic! So easy arranging the tours and we’re happy to answer all questions we had. We had wonderful port days in Lautoka and Suva and even got to meet the president of Fiji which was great!

Thank you for our wonderful days while we were on our cruise! We are definitely hoping to come back to Fiji in the future and will be sure to get in touch then!

We booked our accommodation and sight seeing at Taveuni through Kalo and Jone at Exotic Holidays Fiji. They organized a wonderful trip for us. We were picked up at the airport and all events were scheduled. Tusela, our guide took us to various excursions each day and gave us first hand information about Fiji, their customs and traditions and we got a good sense of Fijian Life.
We went on the Lavena coastal walk with our guide, Simone who was excellent. We saw the mushroom rocks and Simone spotted the rare orange dove and helped us walk through the water and see the second waterfall.
On other excursions at Taveuni, we saw purple land crabs and the rare Tagimoucia flower. We have great memories of this trip and recommend Exotic Holidays Fiji for planning trips to Taveuni and Fiji.

I was in Nadi for professional reason the week before then I spent almost three days and two nights in Abaca. I really enjoyed my stay ! The pick up in my hotel was in time on Saturday morning. We stopped in the Lautoka market and I could choose my meal and my best Fijian dessert : the cassava pie ! On the arrival in Abaca, I met Pau, who will be my guide. He proposed me to start the track to Mt Batilamu on a horse. The horse was obedient and Pau was careful. The second half of the track was steeper and in the forest so we left the horse. In the hut, we met other people from the village and staff of Eco Challenge Race. The view from Mt Batilamu is dramatic. Then on Sunday, I could attend a part of the service in the church and share kava in the collective house. There are several rivers and waterfalls around the village. All the walks are easy to intermediate and tracks are well-maintained.
Above all, meals were prepared by Pau's family, with fresh products (Abaca is surrounded by small farmed fields), and I could taste varied food. On Monday afternoon, another driver brought me back in time in Nadi airport and we had even time to buy another cassava pie in Lautoka market ! Thank you all for this very positive experience !

Had a great day, however we did not realize the hike was so long. My husband and I are in average to good shape and it took us six hours to complete the hike. It is a VERY steep hike. Everyone was very sweet.

Warning. This dishonest company embezzled/stole our money and we are currently taking legal actions as well as contacting the police here in the Fiji. We can provide all the documents, money transfers and email communication to prove our claims if needed.

We are not some rookies and we even have worked in the tourism for many years. We contacted this company by email earlier this year from our country to provide transport to Koroyanitu NP to our group of 16 people (friends and family). They offered us a resonable price and responsive manner, so we agreed on the deal. They also got good reviews on Google, Tripadvisor and the Facebook.

Later we extended our inquiry and booking also to providing a bus transport around Viti levu and the Seaspray tour organized by South Seas Cruise company. They seemed very attentive and responsive at first, but between the times also a bit pushy as, they said, quick booking was required otherwise it would have been too late. We paid an amount over 5.000 FJD.

After they received our money they changed the attitude slightly, and it took them a longer time to reply to our emails. We were not suspicious until the South Seas Cruise Company could not confirm the subject company had booked and paid the Sespray boat tour on our behalf as was agreed upon. The SSC company also informed us the subject company does not communicate, and if so they are are evasive as for the payment. We pressed them to make the payment as SSC company's tour was being sold fast.

The subject company eventually admitted to not paying for the Sespray tour but at the same time made numerours lame excuses why they could not pay for it ranging from not having enough cash to its colleague who can authorize the payment being out on another island etc.

We ended up paying for the Seaspray tour again, this time directly to the SSC company, since we could not afford to ruin our whole tour to Fiji (and Samoa) and because we were quite on a tight itinerary. The subject company was aware of that and one again agreed to pay the excess and damages directly to us on a specific day and time as soon as we land in Fiji. Until recently we also thought if the company had paid us the excess, we would have gone ahead with the other part of our ageement which was providing us the bus transportation around the island.

Here we are in Fiji being played by the company. After several false pretenses, misleadings, delays from their side and even our travel to Lautoka for meeting, they evaded us and did not catch up with us even in their home country. We gave them an ultimatum to pay all the debts by today's morning, but their only response from them was the same lame excuses and eventually blocking our phone calls and facebook communication (we were connected on the Facebook).

From Lautoka, Fiji, Visit to Abaca village in Koroyanitu National Park. The Savuione Falls Track was a strenuous hike. Not able to complete without guide. Unique Experience that allowed exploring the national forest without hordes of tourists. Peaceful allowing us to listen and appreciate sounds of birds and the waterfall and converse with the guide. Compared to tours offered dockside, this experience was superior by allowing access to the interior of the National Park and visiting a working village rather than staged kava ceremony. Walking pole suggested. Consider footwear choices as shallow stream crossing were part of hike as well as steep parts of the trail. This experience was worth effort. The prompt and timely service provided was needed as travel to the village, the walk and meal requires about 8 hours, which is the maximum time many cruise ships are in port.

Got tired of all the touristy things to do around Nadi and was fortunate enough to find Exotic Holidays Fiji in Lonely Planet and they proved to be very understanding and helpful in arranging a trip to the Garden Island of Taveuni during the last two days of our 12 days in Denaru. The sights in Taveuni were spectacular. We especially enjoyed our boat trip and hikes to the falls in Bouma and the snorkeling at Rainbow Reef. Would love to dive there on the next trip.
The folks at EHF are especially adept at setting up trips to areas and islands of Fiji for those who really want to know the fijian people. They have contacts throughout the archipeligo.Kali and Jone simply can't do enough to help their clients.
See the real Fiji with Exotic Holidays Fiji!!!!!!!!

My husband and I booked our excursion prior to arriving in Latouka. The communication and service with Exotic Holiday Tours was excellent. We arrived on Good Friday, which is a national holiday, Kalo and her husband meet us at the cruise port as pre arranged. There was some difficulty with the tour we booked and Exotic Holiday Tours quickly advised us of our options. They saved the day by giving us alternatives and ended up spending the entire day taking us to local attractions which included a tour of Richard Burton's Orchid Gardens, a mud bath and massage and a nice lunch facing the beach. You can't go wrong booking with Exotic Holiday Tours!!!
