This museum is right on the boardwalk and offers the arcade experience of days gone by. There are arcade games starting from the 1950's to the current machines. One entrance fee for an hour gives one the opportunity to play bowling, pinball, baseball, shooting galleries, skiball, driving machines,hockey,Pac-Man and I am sure I missed something. Food is offered, which I think is typical of boardwalks, hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries etc...They do keep late hours if u need to step away from some of the bar venues to have a different diversion. Each machine has a historical placard explaining its history and retirement. Overall a great experience and a must do between boardwalk bar hops. Have fun.

Down in Asbury Park for a fall anniversary time away. Hands down, the Silverball was the best thing on the Boardwalk or in the town itself! Loved the pay one price fee. We paid for the 1/2 day fee and spent around 4 hours or so. There were old 1950's machines (with bumpers worth 10 or 25 points) as compared to the whiz-bang, musical, bells and whistle machines of today, and everything in between.
They also had a few Skeeball machines and an Air Hockey table. Food is available there. It was okay, and the prices were a bit steep, but in comparison to everything else around, it was fine.
We may even just bop down one day for a day trip.
It definitely paid to go in the morning. No crowds. Little waiting.
They also have birthday parties here.

The Silverball Museum in Asbury Park is a prime example of what a retro pinball and video game “museum” should be. Everything is playable, well maintained and loved with facts and high score charts for almost every game and pin. You pay based on the time you plan to spend inside so it’s free play based on your play style. Food and drink are available and it’s clean and the folks working there are friendly. You really couldn’t ask more!

Of all the arcades on the Jersey Shore, this is the only one worth visiting. Not only is it a good value for how much you pay for admission, the place is a literal museum for pinball and arcade machines. There are rare classics here (Gemini!), with some machines from the 70’s and 80’s that are nearly impossible to find let alone get to play.
This is a yearly pilgrimage for myself and my young family and I hope to make it back here with just my wife and I for many years to enjoy the games from our youth. I just wish people realized how fortunate they are to play these machines and treat them with more reverence and care.

Spent a few hours in here on a Saturday night. I wish I had come earlier and stayed longer. If you grew up in the golden age of pinball and video games this is the arcade of your dreams. A great selection of new and old games ensures that all ages can find something fun. There is an admission fee at the door and then all of the games are on free play. Don't miss this if you are in the area.

This place is a throwback to earlier years when arcades were in fashion. While a few do exist, this experience was exceptional. A single flat fee depending on the length of your stay. For a little bit more, the price allows you to stay for 6-hours or longer
Well you may say, why stay so long? The simple truth is all the games are part of the entrance fee. You can play as many games as you like for as long as you like. Now that’s a real deal. There are hundreds of pinball, air hockey and other games. Located on the Asbury Park boardwalk, it’s easy to park and enjoy the fun. While it was a Friday afternoon in November, it wasn’t busy and we parked right in front. It’s the coolest place on Earth.

No more struggling to find some quarters. Just pay the admission fee and play as many games as you want. $10/30 minutes, $12/60 minutes, $15/6 hours. We went for the 6 hour block and stayed for about 2.5 hours. They give you wrist bands so you can leave and re-enter. There were tons of old baseball games, pinball machines, as well as not so old like pac-man, asteroids, donkey Kong. It was a lot of fun for an afternoon.

Great place for vintage 80's video game and flipper lovers. I recommend to spend at least 1 hour to get even a glimpse. In 2 hours you can play your favorites more times. Our off season visit in March was perfect as there were not waiting to play all the greatest games of the past.

Definitely a must visit when at the Jersey shore. Think of it if a museum of old time arcade games but you get to play them. Brought back so so many memories. Fun even for the newer generations that grew up on video games seeing them try their hands at old school games. The pay one price and play everything in the place is great. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Bring friends and family and go head to head with them on the games. Just great fun.

Also check for free parking. The parking lot across the street from Silverball Museun is free in the off season, but the parking meters on the street are not. Verify info with the attendants

Whats the best pass for 2 adults and kids who like to play?
Written 25 January 2018
For $3 more than the 1 hour pass you get the 1/2 day pass. 6 hours for $15.00
Depends how long everyone wants to play. You do get a bracelet. If it's a beach day you might be able to come and go.
