Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had lunch near the school, and we went to Wangjianglou park after that. A relaxed and comfortable place, beautiful view.

Relatively small inner city park that contains a lot of stuff. Huge swards of bamboo tower over you providing welcome shade on a sunny day. Throughout the park there are numerous statues and formally planted areas as well as tea houses, and a small funfair. No charge to enter but it does close after dark. The lower Riverside pathway is closed during the rainy season due to risk of flooding.

A great beautiful park to spend a few hours walking around with lots to see, huge bamboo trees, plenty of sculptures and lots of artwork. We went in the morning and there was not too many people here. Would recommend if you have a few hours spare.

We walked along the river and down the alleys to reach the park. Well worth it. It is on the banks of the Jinjiang and has a fascinating group of historic buildings linked to a great poet of old, Xue Tao. This part has a small fee. 20 yuan or as with many historic sites, free for the over 60's. You can enter the buildings and climb up some. English boards give some background. It is set in amongst bamboo which the rest of the Park is famous for. We headed through to it for a sit down and a cup of tea. A great additional experience with the hot water courtesy of two large thermos flasks. Loved the place and caught taxi back to town for a delicious hot pot by the river at Lu Li Ping's. Next to the bridge down from the Dongmem Bridge metro. Staff very patient and helpful. Food and experience great.

Not nearly as large as I had remembered ... but still quite attractive. Free admission, as long as you avoid the so called "historical areas" -- and my recommendation is to avoid.

This is a great local park to visit in the morning if you don’t want to be surrounded by a lot of tourists. Loads of different bamboo species and some nice Chinese architecture along the JingJiang River. Use an umbrella when walking through the large diameter bamboo grove, the birds seem to call this place home and you run the risk of being a target !

Wow a great place to spend a few hours walking around. Lots to see. We were lucky enough to see locals performing juggling dancing and were asked to join in so much fun. Lots of different varieties of bamboo grown here very interesting. Very well kept clean. Some beautiful sculptures and art work. Nice and cool on a hot day.

This park has lots of bamboo lined pathways as well as some tea houses adjacent to the river. The tea house we went to had many locals playing mahjong! The local jasmine tea was delightful and while sipping on our tea we were approached by locals to have our ears, cleaned and wax removed! Apparently this is a relaxing therapy, but for me I didn’t want my ear prodded! Also the park had many locals dancing together amongst other relaxing activities! Recommend a visit!
