You want to do some serious people watching, this is the place. Many many shops and restaurants. Old man in a booth sells small snuff bottles that are painted in the inside with a tiny brush. Expect to pay about 50 to 60 yuan. Be...More

A lot of shops and many places to eat. It is not particularly special but it is a nice place to walk around, have lunch or dinner and do some shopping

The shopping is not much different from any other shopping street in china. Guan qian steet is very similar to dongmen in shenzhen. It's not as clean as wangfujing in Beijing or Nanjing road in Shanghai. But it is lively and less crowded especially at...More

I went here as a tour group ranging from adults to the elderly. Public parking areas are available although it'll take a while to get to the main shopping street. There are many benches and seating spots with vegetations (in case it's a hot and...More

This was 'the' shopping street and has been pedestrianised for nearly 20 years and still looks modern. Mainly local shops, the silver shops are worth a look but you will not find the brands in the more modern shopping malls that are everywhere now. There...More

A crowded area, like Taiwan Xi Men Ding. Long queue whenever there is retail selling food or snack. Few shops selling silver handmade jewelry, fashion, shoes. Not really interesting to foreign visitors.
