It’s a shame that the view over the open water is blocked with Yellowish fog, not sure if it’s smog, fog, or pollution which makes it very Difficult to see much.

20190113 today had a walk around East Lake (a park free of charge). Now it is winter... no beautiful flowers or green that took your breath away ( ideal to visit in Spring time). It was a slow walk, quiet park where you can clear...More

Took a cab ride back to hotel & nearest way is driving through the lake, it was as though driving on water since the water level is not too different from road level. Interesting experience.

Well we visited the place in the winter and it was really much cold. The place it’s nice to relax and if you want you can take one of the boats to cross the river.

Come and enjoy this beautiful piece of nature. Most enjoyable and definitely the place to be - relax and photo taking. Nearby are some famous landmarks such as museum and park.

As I live 2 years in Wuhan, on this side of the river, I consider it the most beautiful place in Wuhan if you like nature. The par is nice, big, green, clean. There are not many treastaurants, just snack kiosks. But if you like...More

Large area with a good infrastructure for walking, eating, relaxing and sightseeing, close distance to the town, widely used by young couples getting married to make photos in this nice scenario. Boats available to visit the place.

I was thinking Lake Tahoe but no, it's just a large body of water, not too terribly well maintained, so it kind of takes away how nice it could be. I really made an effort to go there, but afterwards, meh
