Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So many exhibits including a large area devoted to dinosaurs and China's pre-historic period. Probably need two days to see everything comfortably.

Nice museum with a great display of recovered relics. We started off with the musical concert of bell ringing and traditional dance. It was very good. We were there on a closed day so it was quiet.

Should you once again find d yourself looking for a blast into the past .... well I got just the
place. The wuhan museum near East lake is indeed a place of vast interest ...at least for those who enjoy historical accounts with exquisite artifacts restored to pristine condition!
One can not argue the cost !(free)

I would definitely recommend a visit to this museum if you are into looking at archaeological artifacts and are interested in learning a bit about the significance of the Hubei area in Chinese history. The museum structure itself is quite impressive and it houses a great number of State-level historical and cultural relics. While not all of the exhibit is presented in English, enough is presented really nicely to make this worth visiting. I would not recommend the audio-guide, though as only about 10% of the exhibit is detailed on it and the English is quite difficult to understand -- you are better off to read the exhibit descriptions.

Small museum but it's still worth going. It gives history lessons about Wuhan city. It'd much less touristy so you can enjoy the entire place at leisure.

Its a huge museum. With lots of historic details of China. Lots of display items which will attract the tourists. The weapons used in wars are being displayed and it was really interesting also the jwelery wore by the ancient Chinese Kings and Queens. A nice souvenir shop is there for the tourists.

Came here following a visit to Yellow Crane Tower. Very interesting exhibition of Ladies of Chinese Dynasties. Loved the porcelain displays - some very interesting and quirky "potties" :-))

We visited here during our cruise ship's stop in Wuhan. We visited the gallery housing the artifacts found in theTomb of MarquisYi of Zeng (475-221 BCE). It is amazing to see the workmanship of the people about 2050 years ago. We heard the concert which was beautiful and a great experience of Chinese culture.
