Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Almost deserted when I was there but very large area and has a huge greenhouse to explore as well. Some small snack areas inside the park selling drinks and big instant noodle bowls.

I loved the botanical garden with its mixture of formal planting and wild areas. It's also a research institute and involved with conservation of rare plants - the area recreating the Three Gorges Habitat was particularly interesting. Also the garden of medicinal herbs. Beautifully laid out with little pavilions set in the many lakes and islands.

It is a huge garden. The greenhouse is excellent. I liked the rose garden and the ponds of water lily. I was surprised seeing a few guides who were kids.

Good place to visit if you are into plants and.stuff. Not expensive though it seems a bit far out of the city. Plus they have nice cars you can pay and drive around yourself for a bit of adventure. The landscaping in certain areas is very nice and the place is reasonably well kept. As well they have a small section for underwater plants which i thought was kool. And finally there is adequate space for picnicking and an area where the kids can play, all relaxing to go check out. I certainly recommend it.

This is a nice park to spend some quiet time with friends or family. There are walking trails, and boat rides located within the park area. There is nice landscaping throughout the park and the botanical gardens were very nice. I suggest you take bottled water with you since you will be doing a lot of walking.

The garden is more a park than a garden. I think it is best to spend at least half a day there during the weekend, then you can also watch the locals and have nice walks. It is a great place to relax.

I will go to botanic garden to almost every city I visited, home or abroad. WBG's fulll name is: the Wuhan Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is pretty wild garden compared with other botanic garden in western countries, as you will not see too many staff working in the garden most of the time. WBG boasts the world's largest kiwi fruit garden, water plant garden and a huge warm house. Though not carefully attended to some details (maybe too large), but this vast bonatic garden is defintly worth visiting, if you have a few days in Wuhan. A night tour to WBG is also possible.
