Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park was remodeled this year and it is a great place to walk with family with children. It has several playgrounds for kids, a skate park, fitness corner and futball and basketball grounds appart from chess and pingpong tables. All in all its a 3 Km walk (round trip) and it is sure worth it to take a good breath in nature. For the ones who want to walk a bit more in the park is the door to Cerro caracol where one can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of ConcepciĂłn and BioBio river. Very nice walk for everyone. Plus, both park and cerro caracol are pretty well secure with police and security and for jogging at noght the park counts with great illumination.

Nice enough park jammed between street and hillside. What sets it apart is great variety of innovative toys for 1-8 year olds. Also has restolounge for adults while kids are playing. Backs up to Cerro Caracol, a city park up a hill so no problem finding it.

Went a lot of years ago before the earthquake and was sketchy. Now they have nice trails to run and MANY rangers that can help you to get around. Nice one to avoid the heat. Careful if you go down thru "aguita las perdices" which is a slum.

It is nice to have a walk and learn about the many tree species (and really old trees are there that provide a special atmosphere), but traffic is close by so that recreation potentials are a bit limited.

We took the children for a walk up the cerro caracol to the mirador alemán. We entered the park near the Universidad de Concepción, visited the Mirador Alemán, which is currently being restaured (so we couldn't visit the tower) but we were able to enjoy the view of the city all the way to the bio-bio river mouth (desembocadura). Recent work, cutting down non native species, made this possible and also gives room for the native species to thrive.

This is a beautiful space, with lovely big trees, lots of lawn, well-regulated walking and cycling areas and heaps of places for kids to play. Lots of places to sit, including the grass. It was in very good shape when I visited, clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed strolling around and looking at some of the statues as well as the variety of playground equipment. You can enter the Cerro behind from the park in order to walk up to see views of the city. There is also a library (with exhibits) and an historical museum there.

Parque Ecuador has something for everyone. The playground equipment is modern and well maintained (although you have to watch out for puddles if it's rained recently) and there are even outdoor ping-pong tables for the adults and a skate park for the teens. Behind the park is a nice 2-4 hour hike that will give you a great view of Concepcion

Much of the park has playgrounds for children. There are lots of benches to sit on and grass to lay in. There are large trees that provide shade.
